On Tuesday April 27th, Southern View Energy took time out of the day to visit a local Middle School, North Hall Middle, to help educate students on solar energy and its abilities. The purpose of the trip was to help show the students the vast power of the sun, how it can be harnessed and the good that can come of such ability. SVE illustrated to the students that solar power is not a thing of the future and that the time to utilize such power is now.
Southern View Energy is proud to announce that we are now certified by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). NABCEP offers certifications and certificate programs to renewable energy professionals throughout North America. NABCEP began that work by creating a certification program for solar electric installers.
NABCEP’s goal is to develop voluntary national certification programs that will:
* Promote renewable energy;
* Provide value to practitioners;
* Promote worker safety and skill; and
* Promote consumer confidence
NABCEP is committed to providing a certification program of quality and integrity for the professionals and consumer/public it is designed to serve. Professionals who choose to become certified demonstrate their competence in the field and their commitment to upholding high standards of ethical and professional practice.
