Solar Gaining Power

The amount of electricity generated by new solar installations this year is expected to be twice as much as the capacity added last year, enough to power 200,000 more homes, bolstering the market for clean-tech jobs, according to several studies unveiled this week.

The studies — all timed to the solar trade show at the Los Angeles Convention Center, one of the industry’s largest — are painting a rosy outlook for the renewable energy industry. article

Is Solar moving toward Grid Parity?

I wish that I could say that I have been hard at work researching everything solar from cost, to new technologies, and beyond, but there is not enough time in the day to do all of my own research concerning the advancements that the Solar Industry is making.  However, there are those out there that have the resources to do just that.  And of course I want to make you all aware of the wonderful findings they run across so that my readers are the most knowledgeable and savy in the industry.

One of my most recent findings was pertaining to the most crucial part of my industry, Cost.  Apparently we are moving closer and closer to grid parity, which means cost are drastically coming down with each new day, week, and year.  From installation to product cost the industry is getting better and more efficient at what we do.  Here is the link to read more about how we are moving closer to grid parity and free solar power.  I hope you enjoy and share the news that the cost of solar is not out of your reach.  So go out and share the word about what Solar is doing, I know I will.Array
