The amount of electricity generated by new solar installations this year is expected to be twice as much as the capacity added last year, enough to power 200,000 more homes, bolstering the market for clean-tech jobs, according to several studies unveiled this week.

Georgia could create 50,000 “green” jobs by 2016 and ride an environmentally friendly wave to a cleaner, more prosperous future, according to a thought-provoking report by the Georgia Department of Labor.
A colleague recently sent me this article about how China was going Green. And I thought to myself, well of course they are, they are growing exponentially and are advancing in a third of the time as any other country. It only seems fitting that China is the largest producer of Solar panels and now plans on leading the World in Installed Solar capacity. I wish that I could say that I have been hard at work researching everything solar from cost, to new technologies, and beyond, but there is not enough time in the day to do all of my own research concerning the advancements that the Solar Industry is making. However, there are those out there that have the resources to do just that. And of course I want to make you all aware of the wonderful findings they run across so that my readers are the most knowledgeable and savy in the industry.
One of my most recent findings was pertaining to the most crucial part of my industry, Cost. Apparently we are moving closer and closer to grid parity, which means cost are drastically coming down with each new day, week, and year.
